LUMBERTON, N.C. -- Police, the FBI and Fort Bragg officials are still searching for 13-year-old Hania Noleia Aguilar, who was kidnapped in front of her Lumberton home Monday morning. The SUV used in her kidnapping was located Thursday morning in Lumberton off Quincey Drive; about 12 minutes from the scene of the kidnapping. Video was released Thursday of a person walking towards where she was kidnapped, shortly before it happened.

  • She was grabbed by a man and forced into a green 2002 Ford Expedition.
  • Hania is a Hispanic female, about 5 feet tall, weighs 126 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a blue shirt with flowers on it and blue jeans.
  • It is unknown what, if any, vehicle her kidnapper is currently using.

There is a $15,000 reward for information in her disappearance.

She was grabbed while waiting to go to school in her front yard in the Rosewood Mobile Home Park in Lumberton.

One woman says she saw a man running away from the scene at Quincey Drive and Almanac Road. She said he was wearing dark clothes.

Because the SUV has been found and Hania has not, it is unknown what vehicle(s) the public should be looking out for.

The suspect was described as wearing all black and a yellow bandanna. Investigators believe the suspect is a stranger to Hania.

The 911 call to report Hania’s abduction was made by a neighbor when a relative ran over to get help.

Multiple agencies are now involved in the search including the Lumberton Police Department, Robeson County Sheriff's Office, Fort Bragg officials, FBI, FBI’s Child Abduction Rapid Deployment team, North Carolina SBI, North Carolina State Highway Patrol, Rockingham Police Department, the North Carolina Department of Public Safety Division of Community Corrections, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

During a press conference Tuesday afternoon, FBI agents read a plea from Hania's mother that said she isn't angry with the person who took her, but that she just wants her back home.

Anyone with information as to where Hania is, is urged to all police at 910-272-5871. Lumberton Police Department, Robeson County Sheriff's Office, FBI agents, and SBI agents are investigating.

Authorities recently obtained a photo of the vehicle from surveillance footage in Lumberton. The footage released Wednesday night is from a camera near the entrance of the Rosewood Mobile Home Park showing the SUV leaving the park and turning left onto Highway 41/Elizabethtown Road in Lumberton.

Video footage released Thursday afternoon appears to be a man wearing light colored shoes and shirt and a hoodie, walking south on Lambert Street then turning north on Highway 41 and Elizabethtown Highway towards Rosewood Mobile Home Park, where Hania was abducted. If anyone recognizes this man, please call police immediately.

Police are still asking anyone who may have a camera or video surveillance system to save the video and contact the tip line immediately at 910-272-5871.
