An area of low pressure sweeping through tonight will bring a slight chance for rain during the overnight hours. Little to no measurable rainfall is expected, but skies will remain cloudy overnight.

As a result, temperatures will only drop to the upper 50s and lower 60s again Thursday morning.

Expect Thursday to be a hot and sunny day! We'll reach the upper 80s at the warmest point of the afternoon and may even approach 90 in the Sandhills.

It will feel like an early summer day, but cooler weather is coming in over the upcoming weekend to bring temperatures back below average.
