CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- The Charlottesville community continues to grapple with this weekend's violence.

Though a sense of normalcy is starting to emerge in Charlottesville, the community is still in shock following the events this weekend.

The white supremacist march was about the city's plan to take down a statue of former Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.

A few blocks away, there was a growing vigil at the site where police say James Alex Fields Jr. drove his car into a crowd of people, killing one woman and injuring many more.

People in Charlottesville gathered on Sunday in song to remember 32-year-old Heather Heyer and to try and make sense of this tragedy.

A large media scene remains in Charlottesville, and police are still on alert in case of any other violence.
