After a mixed bag of weather last weekend, we're looking at a better forecast for the upcoming weekend.
It should be an almost perfect weekend for outdoor plans like the Dogwood Festival in Fayetteville, Brewgaloo in downtown Raleigh or for picking fresh strawberries.
Our weekend afternoons will be warmer than most days this week. Highs should reach the 70s on Saturday. Sunday will be even warmer with afternoon temperatures near 80.
Sunday will be just the start of a long stretch of warm days. Highs should reach the mid-80s most days next week.
