BLADEN COUNTY, N.C. -- The search continues for a man reported missing at Singletary Lake State Park in Bladen County Saturday, but authorities now say the search is considered a recovery effort.

Authorities say 23-year-old Jesse Sgro, of Fayetteville, went missing while camping with a group there on Saturday. 

On Wednesday, two boats with side sonar scanners will enter the water along with two dive teams.

Friends say the group was on a church retreat and Sgro became separated from them while canoeing.     

Singletary Lake State Park officials say they have found Jesse's empty canoe with a cell phone and some other of his belongings inside.
