A local wrestling legend will be laid to rest Saturday. Dick "The Destrroyer" Beyer died last week at the age of 88.

The Buffalo native spent almost 40 years in the ring, and is a member of the pro-wrestling hall of fame.

He also coached wrestling, football, and swimming at Akron High School, and worked for several local charities.

A memorial service will be held at "One Church" in Akron at 10 a.m. Saturday.
