Since this past weekend, most of central North Carolina has seen between one and three inches of rain.  Another half inch to inch and half of rain is likely from Thursday through the upcoming weekend.

For Thursday, look for more rain in the morning compared to the afternoon.  However, a few spotty showers will still be possible during the second half of the day and in the evening.  High temperatures will range from just above 50 near the Virginina border to the mid 60s near the South Carolina border.

Thursday forecast

The rain may pick back up early Friday morning.  Off on and showers will then continue through the afternoon and evening.

Temperatures will drop to the 40s by Friday morning and then may stay in the 40s through Friday, Friday night, and Saturday.

Saturday will bring another day of off and on rain.

Warmer air moving into the state will cause temperatures to rise Saturday night.  By Sunday, highs should reach the 70s.

Not as much rain is expected Sunday but a line of passing showers is possible.

Monday still looks to be our next fully dry day and the next chance to see sunshine all day.
