- Max was found after joining a group of runners
- Max is currently at the Wake County Animal Center
- Adoption fees are reduced to $25 until December 22
Max was brought to the Wake County Animal Center after joining a local running club on their run. Max stayed with the group for 15 miles from Dunn to Erwin.
After being taken to the vet for a microchip check, his previous owners made it clear that they did not want him returned to them.

Wake County Animal Center is also running an adoption special until December 22. All dogs are $25 and you can name your price for cats. There are currently 100 available dogs and 120 available cats.
